Our contract with AMTRAK is signed!!
T-Solutions and AMTRAK signed a one year, $2.7M contract
last week with a negotiated price option for a second year
and an open ended option for more years without
renegotiating the terms of the agreement. T-Solutions will
be AMTRAK's partner and facilitate the transformation of
their rolling stock maintenance to a Reliability Centered
Maintenance (RCM) based process. We were referred to AMTRAK
by our customers as the best and most focused maintenance
engineering small business company in the business. Your
superior performance led to this reputation.
We held our contract kick-off meeting
with the CEO, COO, IG and Engineering heads of AMTRAK
yesterday. We are very excited about this opportunity and
will initially populate our AMTRAK team with very senior
engineers who can provide AMTRAK with early success and high
return on investment (ROI). I want to offer special
congratulations to Bill Mercier whose extensive RCM
knowledge and reputation as one of the best experts in the
RCM field were also key to our selection by AMTRAK.

Many of you receive compliments from your clients and
COs. I wanted to recognize this one as an example of the
wonderful work you all do for your ships and clients - I am
very proud to be working with such professionals.
The Commanding officer of Mike Scott's
ship, USS Austin, sent the following email to Mike. We can
only hope SECNAV follows up on this. Even if he doesn't,
Mike has accomplished what all of you work so very hard to
do - he has earned the confidence of his customer, the CO of
his ship, that he has the profession skill and the passion
to take care of maintenance on his ship. He "treats her
like she's his baby".
